Terms of use
These terms cover the free Profit Leak Scan and this website. Paid services are covered by a separate agreement you sign before they start.
The scan
- The scan is free. There is no obligation to buy anything.
- You must be authorised to connect the Xero or QuickBooks organisation you choose.
- The scan reads your books and does not change them. See Privacy for exactly what we read and how the connection is ended.
What the report is, and isn't
The report is an automated analysis of the figures in your books. It is only as accurate as those figures. It is general information to help you decide what to look into. It is not accounting, tax, legal or investment advice, and it is not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional who knows your circumstances. Figures marked "what if" are illustrations, not predictions.
Using the site
Don't misuse the site: no attempts to break it, overload it, or access data that isn't yours. We may suspend access to the scan if we see that.
Liability
We provide the free scan as is. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for decisions you make based on it, or for losses arising from inaccurate data in your books.
Our content
The site, its design, text, demo dashboard and the scan are ours. You can share links and use your own report however you like. Please don't copy the site or the scan to build your own.
Prices and the guarantee
Prices on the site are a guide. Your actual price, scope and terms are set out in writing before you commit. How our guarantee works is set out in the guarantee terms.

These terms work alongside our privacy policy, cookie policy and disclaimer.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you're a consumer living elsewhere in the UK, you can also bring a claim in your local courts. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
